Well-being Massage Therapy services are designed to promote overall well-being and provide relief from physical pain and mental stress.

What to expect during a typical massage therapy session:

Before the Massage:

At your first visit you'll be asked to fill out a health intake form, providing information about any injuries, medical conditions, or areas of concern.
The massage therapist will review the form, do assessments where needed, and discuss your goals for the session, such as relaxation, pain relief, or improve mobility.

During the Massage:

The therapist will start by assessing the muscle tone and any areas of tension or tightness.
A variety of techniques like effleurage (long, flowing strokes), petrissage (kneading), friction, and tapotement (rhythmic tapping) are used.
Pressure can range from light and soothing to deeper, therapeutic pressure, depending on your needs and preferences.
The therapist will work systematically through the body, often focusing on major muscle groups like the back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, and feet.

You should communicate with the therapist if the pressure is uncomfortable at any point.

Client Communication Preferences
I understand that each person has their own preference when it comes to talking during a massage. Some clients prefer a silent, zen-like experience, while others enjoy light conversation.

Therapist Guidance
Your massage therapist will follow your lead in terms of the level of communication. They may ask a few questions at the start to understand your goals, but will otherwise remain quiet unless you initiate discussion.

Note: There are some conditions I do not treat , or are out of my scope of practice. Feel free to inquire prior to booking to make sure I am able to help your concern. Thank you.

TESTIMONIALS

I have been having massages for the last 2 years and came to see Sandra 10 months ago. She is very knowledgeable and understands your concerns. She is able to find the problem areas and work on them. I recommend Sandra , she does a fantastic job!

Mabel F

After having a massage from Sandra, I felt much better. She was able to relax my tight muscles and get out the knots like no other therapist I’ve been to! I definitely recommend her.
